two sisters....ONE bedroom....

so we made the big change. after a solid month of ellabella escaping from her bedroom to join us in ours...it was time for a change. It's been 24 hours and it's going fabulous. BUT...just when we were about to sit the girls down for the talk. The big talk. sharing a bedroom.........

and then what to my wondering eyes does appear? But a picture livvylou has drawn. It very sweetly says ELLA at the top....a little stick person...and a big ol' circle around it with a line through it.

"mom....I want to put this on my bedroom door. It says NO ELLAS allowed".

So...it's late and the girls are sleeping. I wonder if they will ever realize the times when they are sound asleep when I all so gently wander into their rooms to kiss them:

once.

twice.

more and more.

I just did this with Olivia. and I think of the times before I go off to bed when I go into their rooms that one last time to say my OWN good night to them. The time last week when I picked Ella up and out of bed for the chance for the late snuggle when she quickly drifted off to sleep in my arms.

It's the small things in life. the little stolen kisses in the middle of the night that fill my heart.

Mom.....are you ok?

So...feeling the pressure of the new blog today and the need to put down something perfect...It seems I waited all day for the "perfect" entry. Then it came to me about 3 mins ago....While grating some cheese...I cut my finger. Letting out a small 'Ouch'....the girls heard this from upstairs and came running down.

Mom...are you Ok?

Oh girls...I say...just a little cut.

They see blood...they have this panic look on their face and they both run upstairs yelling "mom needs a band-aid".

Olivia comes down with 1.....Ella comes down with 2. Both are so excited to help their Mom out with their band-aid that they choose. They put it on my finger....Olivia kisses it and says:

Is this better Mom?

I of course say...You Bet.

Ella just says....Ahhhh. That's cute.

Gosh...they are SOOOOO my kids. And that feels great.

Wow...Really? I have a blog?

Ok...let's make this one short & simple. Let's see if I can swing this...this blog thing. So...where to start? 2 beautiful daughters....2 half done (who am I kidding.....one isn't even started) baby books...and perhaps a blog is what the girls need to remember their little tales and adventures. Should I introduce them? Again...who am I kidding. I know them...from every ounce of my being. No need for such introductions. So...let's roll with this. Let me see how this goes.....!
